Meet Jeff LaChappell — a family man, entrepreneur, and leader who knows what it means to work hard, face challenges, and keep moving forward with heart. For 15 years, Jeff and his wife Holly owned and operated a retail florist, a balloon decorating company, and a limousine business. Jeff was working 60+ hours a week while Holly poured just as much energy into teaching kindergarten. Life was busy, exhausting, and left little time for what mattered most — their three precious children.

After years of missing out on family moments, Jeff and Holly knew there had to be a better way to earn a living and still enjoy the life they dreamed of. They tried several home-based businesses with little success, but they didn’t give up. Eventually, they found the right fit — and within a year, they sold their florist shop and began working from home. Thirteen years later, that decision has turned into both freedom and fulfillment, allowing them to earn a six-figure income while actually being present with their family.

Today, Jeff is the Executive Director of America’s Best Kept Secret, where he shares his journey and helps others discover possibilities for their own lives. He’s honest about the ups and downs of entrepreneurship — sometimes it’s the best day of your life, sometimes it’s the hardest — but he believes that with perseverance, laughter, and the right community, success and balance are within reach.
